Will the costs of medications be paid?
Any medication needs to be medically necessary or prescribed by a doctor. You will receive your medication by taking the prescription to a pharmacy. The original prescription can then be submitted to us for a refund of the costs.
The policy does not cover medication that can be bought at a pharmacy for free and without a doctor’s prescription.
Please note that we can only process a prescription after we received the related (doctor’s) invoice along with the diagnosis.

What is the amount of money you have to deposit in my blocked account?
In general, around €800 for every month of your stay in Germany are required as a monthly blocked amount.
Please have a look at our example calculation for a 12-months’ stay. If you plan to stay in Germany for more than one year, you can renew your blocked account after the end of 12 months.

After your admission, the hospital will contact us and, under normal circumstances, we will then settle the billing directly with the hospital.
Inpatient treatment without emergency situation!
