Will a stay in your home country be covered?
You want to interrupt your stay abroad for a few days in order to spend some time at home? No problem. If you interrupt your stay abroad and spend time at home, you will have insurance cover for 6 weeks. You can also travel home several times as long as the overall duration does not exceed 6 weeks. There will be insurance cover for costs resulting from an accident or from an acute and newly acquired illness. If you travel to your home country at the end of the insurance period, this is not considered to be an interruption of your stay abroad. In this case, insurance coverage ends as soon as you arrive in your home country. What important information should a student know?
