What is some information you should know as a volunteer?

Information for volunteers – The PROTRIP-WORLD insurance for volunteers adapts to your travel plans. You have the choice between different travel regions and you can also flexibly choose the scope of insurance: PROTRIP-WORLD always includes a strong international health insurance. We especially recommend volunteers to supplement their insurance cover with the Comfort or Plus Package to be able to travel and work without worries. The two packages differ in the scope of the liability insurance. The Plus Package includes a higher basic insurance sum and covers, for example, the risk of losing your keys and damages arising from an act of favor (e.g. at a garden party of another volunteer, you are asked to carry chairs from the flat into the garden, breaking the glass pane in the process).

What are some of the costs for language students and interns/trainees when it comes to deportation?

In case of an officially ordered deportation of the visitor, the insurance policy covers the incurring costs up to €4,000 if claims are made against the host. Unlike former policies, the current deportation costs policy also provides coverage after the expiration of insurance if the visitor, against all expectations, has not left the Federal Republic of Germany.

Which is the right visa for you if you want to travel in Germany?

What can you do in case you do not receive the documents by email?

Following your application, you will immediately receive an email with your insurance certificate along with customer information and product information. If you did not receive an email, please check the mentioned email address and take a look in the SPAM folder.

The worldwide assistance helps you in an emergency with a multilingual 24-hour emergency call service. If necessary, the assistant coordinates the contact to the doctor or hospital, issues a cost transfer and organizes further services such as the medical return transport of the patient.

What can happen in case you have unpaid direct debits?

Please avoid any chargebacks. Every chargeback causes an enormous administrative amount along with bank charges. For any unpaid direct debit, we will have to charge the resulting fees imposed on us, if you are the one responsible for the unpaid direct debit (for example as a result of revocation, incorrect information or insufficient account balance).
